Jose Luis Orengo is an accomplished attorney, former Manhattan Deputy Borough President, a U.S. Army veteran, and a successful cause-driven fundraiser. For almost 30 years, Mr. Orengo and the Orengo Law Firm has represented clients in Estate Planning, Not-For-Profit and Foundation Law, Business Law, and Higher Education Law. He is currently in charge of Planned Giving at the Archdiocese of New York, the second largest archdiocese in the United States with over 2.5 million Catholics and nearly 300 parishes handling multi-million-dollar estates.

Previously, he was Executive Director of the LaGuardia Community College Foundation, where he spearheaded a $100 million capital campaign to expand the college's footprint and business development opportunities in New York City. Mr. Orengo has been counsel to the Dr. Ramon Tallaj Foundation since its founding in 2016. He is a graduate of Queens College and The City University of New York School of Law.
